3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH COMMERCIAL AIR, INC., TO PROVIDE
5 HVAC CONTROL REPAIRS ON AN AS- NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C1011, was issued to
9 provide HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Commercial Air, Inc.,
10 submitted the only quotation at $75.00 per hour labor and manufacturer's published list price for
11 parts, multiplied by .375 percent; and
12 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1) -year and may be extended for an
13 additional two (2), one (1) -year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a
17 contract with Commercial Air, Inc., to provide HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as
18 needed, at the rate of $75.00 per hour labor and parts at manufacturer's published list price
19 multiplied by .375 percent, with the initial term of the contract being one (1) -year from date of
20 award, which may be extended for an additional two (2), one (1) -year periods upon agreement of
21 the parties.
22 Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
24 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
25 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
26 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
27 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
29 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
30 inconsistency.
