RESOLUTION NO. 13,217
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH UNISOURCE TO PURCHASE PAPER
5 PRODUCTS FOR VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS, THROUGH THE
6 STATE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, various dDepartments within the City have substantial needs for paper products
10 during the course of a year, and
11 WHEREAS, it has been determined that it would be in the City's best interest to purchase
12 Print Shop paper and related supplies from Unisource through the Arkansas State Cooperative
13 Purchasing Program; and
14 WHEREAS, it is further recommended that the contract should include the option for an
15 extension for up to two (2) additional years, with the approval of the City Manager;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Unisource for
19 the purchase of paper and related supplies, in the estimated amount of Eighty -Five Thousand
20 Dollars ($85,000.00), pursuant to the State Purchasing Contract, with an option to extend the
21 contract for up to two (2) additional years, with the approval of the City Manager.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the budgets of the various city
23 departments.
24 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
25 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
26 inconsistency.
27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
28 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
29 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
30 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
31 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
