3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 1, 2010, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON WILLIAMS STREET,
5 LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOTS 28 AND 29 RINKE GARDEN ACRES, IN
6 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
9 vacate and abandon the thirty (30) -foot right -of -way of Williams Street, located adjacent to Lots 28 and
10 29 Rinke Garden Acres, (located on the West side of Hilaro Springs Road near the 9300 Block), in the
11 City of Little Rock, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
15 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
16 o'clock on the 1 S` day of November, 2010.
17 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
18 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
19 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
