RESOLUTION NO. 13,198
3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO FRANK SHARUM
4 LANDSCAPE FOR THE LANDSCAPING PHASE ON THE WILLIAM E.
5 CLARK PRESIDENTIAL PARK WETLAND PROJECT; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns wetland acreage along the Arkansas
9 River in downtown Little Rock and an Arkansas Natural Resources Commission Grant, a State
10 Wildlife Grant and donations are available for restoration of the wetlands; and
11 WHEREAS, landscaping services are needed for the project; and
12 WHEREAS, Frank Sharum Landscape submitted the lowest bid (Bid Number 0262) for
13 landscaping services for the project;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Frank
17 Sharum Landscape to provide landscaping services for the project.
18 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available from an Arkansas Game and Fish
19 Commission State Wildlife Grant and donations to the project. Amount for landscaping services
20 of this contract is: $159,798.57 ($138,955.28, plus 15% contingencies).
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
22 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
23 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
24 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
25 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
27 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
28 inconsistency.
29 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
30 adoption.
