3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH ADEVCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PHASE I —
5 DEMOLITION OF THE SITE OF THE MID -TOWN POLICE SUBSTATION;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, L.R. Resolution No. 13,069 (January 19, 2010) and L.R. Resolution No. 20,063
9 (December 9, 2008), authorized the purchase of properties for the construction of a new Mid -Town Police
10 Substation at 3617 West 12`° Street, and
11 WHEREAS, Bid #0250 was issued on June 24, 2010, and opened on July 20, 2010, for the
12 demolition phase of the project, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from
13 ADEVCO Construction Company, in the amount of One Hundred Sixty -Five Thousand Dollars
14 ($165,000.00);
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 ADEVCO Construction Company for Phase I - Demolition in the amount of One Hundred Sixty -Five
19 Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00).
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is available in Acct. No. 325529- 72799- F2283551.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
