3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 7, 2010, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE DENIAL OF A
5 REZONING REQUEST OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9401
6 COLONEL GLENN ROAD FROM C -3 TO PCD, TO ALLOW THE USE
7 OF THE SITE AS AN AUTOMOBILE SALES LOT (Z- 6693 -A); AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
11 Commission's action in denying a request to rezone the property at 9401 Colonel Glen Road from C -3 to
12 PCD to allow the use of the site as an automobile sales lot, pursuant to its general police power authority
13 under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the denial of a request to rezone the property at
17 9401 Colonel Glenn Road from C -3 to PCD to allow the use of the site as an automobile sales lot, shall be
18 held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at
19 six o'clock on the 7 °i day of September, 2010.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
