RESOLUTION NO. 13,128
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO HIl'SKIND EXCAVATING,
INC., FOR FEMA DISASTER RECOVERY GRANT PROJECT, GILL STREET
REPAIR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for FEMA Disaster Recovery Grant Project, Gill Street repair, Bid
No.2010 -206; and
WHEREAS, Hipskind Excavating, Inc., submitted the lowest responsible bid, in the amount of
$63,745.00 ($57,950.00 plus 10% contingencies).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Hipskind
Excavating, Inc., for construction of FEMA Disaster Recovery Grant Project, Gill Street Repair.
Section 2. The project is funded in part with a $20,558 grant from FEMA with the City Share from
Street Fund and Special Project Funds. Amount for construction services: $63,745.00 ($57,950.00 plus
10% contingencies).
section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
