RESOLUTION NO. 13,119
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP
BUILDERS, INC., FOR CONSTRUCTION PHASE II ON THE WILLIAM
E. CLARK PRESIDENTIAL PARK WETLAND PROJECT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns wetland acreage along the Arkansas
River in downtown Little Rock and an Arkansas Natural Resources Commission grant, a State
Wildlife Grant and donations are available for funding towards restoration of the wetlands; and
WHEREAS, construction services are needed for the project; and
WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., submitted the lowest bid (Bid Number 0213) for
Phase II of construction for the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township
Builders, Inc., to provide construction of pay items for the project.
Section 2. Funding for this contract will be available from an Arkansas Game and Fish
Commission State Wildlife Grant and donations to the project. Amount for services: $
1,610,732.20 ($1,464,302, plus 10% contingencies).
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
