3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT A SUCCESSOR COMMISSIONER TO FILL A
4 VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE RIVERDALE
5 LEVEE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 134 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
6 ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Riverdale Levee Improvement District No. 134 ( "the
9 District ") of Little Rock, Arkansas has represented that Steve A. Kavanaugh, one of the three commis -
10 sioners of said board, has resigned; and
11 WHEREAS, the two remaining commissioners recommend that the City appoint Mr. Mike Myers,
12 Vice - President and Chief Financial Officer of Winrock International, a property owner in the District, to
13 fill the vacancy created by Mr. Kavanaugh's resignation.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby appoints Mr. Mike Myers as a Commissioner and a mem-
17 ber of the Board of Commissioners of the Riverdale Levee Improvement District No. 134 of the City of
18 Little Rock.
19 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
21 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and ef-
22 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
25 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
26 Section 4. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
