3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE ACCEPTANCE OF
4 APPROXIMATELY 48.33 ACRES OF LAND FROM CENTRAL
5 ARKANSAS WATER FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is in need of property for recreational purposes, and
9 WHEREAS, Central Arkansas Water is the owner of approximately 48.33 acres of land, more fully described
10 in the attached Special Warranty Deed with Possibility of Reverter, and
11 WHEREAS, Central Arkansas Water is willing to deed the referenced property to the City in exchange for
12 monetary consideration of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and the City Board of Directors has determined the acquisition of
13 the property to be in the best interests of the City.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
15 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby accepts dedication of the land described below by
17 Special Warranty Deed With Possibility of Reverter, the form of which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" (the
18 "Deed "). The Mayor, City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any documents needed in
19 connection with the acceptance of this property.
20 Section 2. A copy of this resolution, duly certified by the City Clerk, along with an executed copy of the
21 Deed, shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk and Recorder of Pulaski County at Little Rock, Arkansas, and recorded
22 in the deed records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of
24 this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
25 affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared
26 or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
