130571 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RESOLUTION NO. 13,057 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE CONTINUATION OF THE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LOW- INCOME, FIRST -TIME HOMEBUYER PROGRAM ORIGINALLY MADE POSSIBLE BY 2006 HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received 2006 HOME funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and WHEREAS, on September 6, 2005, the Little Rock Board of Directors approved funding for a portion of the 2006 HOME Program Grant (Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 12,090 [September 6, 2005]), and WHEREAS, at that time, funding was set aside for undesignated projects, such as substantial / moderate rehabilitation and new construction, and WHEREAS, at least two (2) public hearings have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen input possible. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board approves the continuation of the following low- income, first -time homebuyer program originally made possible by 2006 HOME Investment Partnership Funds: Habitat for Humanity $45,000.00 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
