3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
4 TO CHANGE THE TERMINOLOGY REGARDING MOBILE HOME PARKS;
5 TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, on April 20, 2010, the City Board of Directors passed Ordinances Nos. 20,253, 20,254,
8 and 20, 255, all regarding changes to the Code of Ordinances concerning mobile homes and manufactured
9 homes, and
10 WHEREAS, the City now finds it necessary and desirable to change the terminology regarding
11 mobile home parks in Chapter 17 of the Code of Ordinances to make it consistent with the terminology in
12 other chapters of the Code of Ordinances.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. Section 17- 52(155) of Chapter 17 of the Little Rock Code of Ordinances is hereby
16 deleted and replaced with the following language:
17 (15 5) MOBILE HOME PARKS OR MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS:
18 (a) Each location .................. ............................... $200.00
19 (b) Each mobile home space or manufactured home space, additional ........ $15.00 per space
20 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 ordinance.
25 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or resolutions of the City in conflict herewith are hereby
26 repealed to the extent of such conflict.
27 Section 4. Emergency. It has been determined that it is necessary that the proposed amendments
28 become effective immediately to assure consistency in the Code of Ordinances and clarity regarding
29 licenses and to protect the quality of life in residential neighborhoods; therefore, an emergency is hereby
30 declared and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
