3 AN ORDINANCE TO RECLASSIFY PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL
5 ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
9 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 Section 1. That the zone classification of the following property be and is hereby changed as
11 indicated:
12 Z -8576 — Described as Tracts 6, 7 and 8, Unit 1, Independence Farms
13 Subdivisions to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas: From R-
14 2, Single- Family District, and AF, Agriculture and Forestry District, to 0-2,
15 Office and Institutional District.
16 AND
17 Described as Tract 9, Unit 1, Independence Farms Subdivision to the City of
18 Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas: From R -2, Single - Family District, to
19 C-3, General Commercial District, (north side of Kanis Roa' , approximately`
20 400 feet east of Edswood Road).
21 LESS AND EXCEPT
22 That portion of the above - referenced property located in the regulatory
23 floodway which shall be zoned PR, Parks and Recreation District.
24 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
25 Little Rock and designated district map be and is hereby amended o the extent and in the
26 respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
27 Section 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days after the
28 date of its passage and approval.
29 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
30 phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid r unconstitutional, such
31 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall

I remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
2 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the ordinance.
3 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
4 inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
5 inconsistency.
