AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN (16,222) IN THE
INTERSTATE 630 DISTRICT (LU10- 09 -01) FROM RESIDENTIAL LOW
DENSITY, RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY, OFFICE, COMMERCIAL,
PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL AND MIXED USE TO OFFICE, COMMERCIAL,
PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL, MIXED USE AND MIXED USE - URBAN; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the 12th Street Corridor Study recommends and the 12th Street Corridor Committee
requests to amend the plan, and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission believes it appropriate to amend the plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. That Commercial and Mixed Use generally north of 12th Street between Filmore Street and
Fair Park Boulevard be amended to Public Institutional.
Section 2. That Office and Residential Low Density at the southwest corner of 12th Street and Fair
Park Boulevard be amended to Commercial.
Section 3. That Residential Low Density either side of 12th Street from Tyler to Van Buren Streets be
amended to Office.
Section 4. That Commercial either side of 12th Street from Madison to Peyton Streets be amended to
Mixed Use.
Section 5. That Residential Low Density, Residential Medium Density, Office, Commercial and
Mixed Use in an area general from Interstate 630 to 14th Street and Elm Street to Oak Street be amended
to Mixed Use - Urban.
Section 6. That Mixed Use and Residential Low Density between Maple and Valentine Streets, 11th
and 12th Streets be amended to Public Institutional.
Section 7. That Residential Low Density either side of Johnson Street, north of 13th Street be
amended to Public Institutional.
Section 8. That Residential Low Density and Commercial either side of Woodrow Street from
Interstate 630 to 13th Street be amended to Mixed Use.- ,��a=,,:_
