3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 30 OF IL CODE OF ORDINANCES
4 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO PROVIDE FOR A
5 DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS
6 FOR KANIS ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
9 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 Section 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a deferral of
11 certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until Phase 2, the adjacent property along Kanis Road
12 is developed for Kanis Office Park Short-Form POD at 18425 Kanis Road:
13 Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway,
14 improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a period
15 of five (5) years, until Phase 2, or until adjacent development along Kanis Road occurs
16 whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for improving Kanis Road as part of
17 Kanis Office Park Short-Form POD along the frontage of the property at 18425 Kanis
18 Road to minor arterial standards including widening, curb, gutter, sidewalk, access
19 ramps, and street lights.

21 Subsection b. On Kanis Road, a forty-five (45)-foot right-of-way dedication from
22 centerline along the frontage of the property at 18425 Kanis Road will be required prior
23 to issuance of the certificate of occupancy.
24 Section 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
