AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 18,272 AND
REVOKING A PORTION OF A PLANNED ZONING DISTRICT
TITLED ATKINS ROAD PARTNERSHIP — SHORT -FORM PCD
(Z- 3292 -H) LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
WEST MARKHAM STREET AND ATKINS ROAD (LOT 1, PARK
WEST COMMONS); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 18,272 was passed on May 2, 2000 establishing a planned
zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property (Lot 1, Park West Commons) has
requested the repeal of the "PZD" ordinance and restoring the zoning classification as previously
existed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK,ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 18,272 is hereby repealed, removing from the official
zoning map the classification PCD Planned Commercial District titled Atkins Road Partnership —
Short-Form PCD located at the southwest corner of West Markham Street and Atkins Road, for
Lot 1, Park West Commons only.
SECTION 2. That the property described as:
Lot 1, Park West Commons
Be restored to "0-3" General Office District as existed prior to the adoption of Ordinance
No. 18,272.
SECTION 3. It is hereby determined by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock that there is immediate need to revoke the Atkins Road Partnership — Short-Form PCD for
Lot 1, Parks West Commons only. An emergency is therefore declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and take effect from and after its passage and approval.
