AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE MASTER STREET
PLAN MAP FOR THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING AREA;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock adopted a new Master Street Plan Map on
Monday August 2, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, during the thirty -day review period for said Map several graphic
representation are not consistent with what was purported to be represented; and
WHEREAS, Staff has determined that these representations are graphically
misrepresentative and need to be clarify.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Master Street Plan Map, which graphically illustrates the
location of the major roads for the Little Rock planning area, is hereby corrected as
follows. The Minor Arterial designation for Taylor Loop Road (west) is Collector from
Cantrell Road to Woodall Drive; and the Minor Arterial designation for Dreher Lane,
north of Ada Lane should be Local.
SECTION 2. The Master Street Plan Map, which graphically illustrates the
location of the major roads for the Little Rock planning area, is hereby corrected as
follows. The Proposed Collector from Sullivan to Raines Roads is removed. Dorado
Beach extension is a Collector. Bussey Avenue is a Collector from Woodrow to Elm.
SECTION 3. The Master Street Plan Map is changed as shown on the attached
graphics.
