AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR BRUNO
ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until a future phase of
development, or until the adjacent property along Bruno Road is developed. The deferral
is being requested by Dowler Properties for their property located at 201 Baseline Road.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years, until development of Lot 8B, or until adjacent
development along Bruno Road occurs, whichever occurs first. The specific
deferral is for improving Bruno Road to the residential street design standard per
the Master Street Plan for the entire frontage of the applicant's property. Per the
residential street design standard, Bruno Road is required to be widened to 13 ft
from centerline with curb and gutter, sidewalks, access ramps, and streetlights
along the entire frontage of approximately 210 ft of the applicant's property.
Subsection b. On Bruno Road, 25 foot of right of way from centerline will be
dedicated to the City of Little Rock prior to the issuance of the certificate of
occupancy.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
