WHEREAS, Ranch Highlands Addition Preliminary Plat was approved by the Little Rock Planning Commission on May 11, 2000; and WHEREAS, the approval included the subdivision of 47 acres into 80 single- family residential lots; and WHEREAS, the applicant is seeking vacation of Phases II and III of the proposed subdivision, which have not been final platted, as the developer has determined that the future use of the property as single- family residential lots is not a valid option at this time; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby abandons and vacates the preliminary plat for Phases II and III of the Ranch Highlands Subdivision, which have not been final platted. Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the ordinance. Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
