AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING
FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHWAY 10 AND THE DIVIDE PARKWAY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until the adjacent property
along Highway 10 and the Divide Parkway are developed for Little Rock Christian
Academy at 19010 Highway 10.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years or until adjacent development along Highway 10 occurs
whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for improving Highway 10 as part
of Little Rock Christian Academy Long -form POD along the frontage of the
property at 19010 Highway 10 to principal arterial standards including the
addition of one (1) 11 ft wide lane, curb, and gutter from the driveway to the
western property line and installation of sidewalk, access ramps, and street lights
for the entire frontage of the property.
Subsection b. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years or until adjacent development along the Divide Parkway
occurs whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for improving the Divide
Parkway as part of Little Rock Christian Academy Long -form POD along the
frontage of the property at 19010 Highway 10 to collector standards by
construction of a sidewalk or bike path that complies with the approved street
plans for the Divide Parkway.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
