AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE POROCEL -GREEN
ANNEXATION, ADDING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND CLASSIFYING SAID
PROPERTY TO "I -1" INDUSTRIAL PARK (Z -8287)
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation (the "Petition ") was filed with
the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas by the owner of hereinafter designated
lands praying that said lands be annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on October 30, 2007, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas
found that the Petition was signed by a majority of the total number of the real property
owners of the area to be annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage
of said area; and,
WHEREAS, said lands are contiguous to and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of
said Petition; and,
WHEREAS, proper notice has been given for the time and in the manner
prescribed by law; and,
WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner
prescribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of
Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following described territory contiguous and adjoining the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas is accepted as annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:
POROCEL -GREEN ANNEXATION
A tract of land lying in the NW '/4 of the SW '/4 and the SW '/4 of the SW
'/4 Section 4, T -1 -S, R -12 -W and in the NE' /4 ofthe SE' /4 Section 5, T -1-
S, R -12 -W Pulaski County, Arkansas, and being more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at an iron pin at the SW corner of said
SW '/4 SW '/4 Section 4; thence NO' 14'08" East, along the West line of
said SW '/4 SW '/4, Section 4 for 1,330.02 feet to an iron pin at the NW
corner of said SW '/4 SW '/4 Section 4; thence NO° 15' 15" East along the
West line of NW '/4 SW '/4 Section 4 for 364.79 feet; thence N89'39'53"
East for 1,054.68 feet to the West right -of -way Arkansas State Highway
367 (Arch Street Pike); thence along the West right -of -way line of
Arkansas State Highway 367 (Arch Street Pike) the following bearings
and distances; S18 °15'45" East 31.47 feet; S13 °39'50" East 334.1 feet,
S09 °04' East 709.98 feet; S03 °54'08" East 120.8 feet; S07'15'12" East
176.24 feet; thence leaving right -of -way, S88 °07'57" West 975.77 feet;
S25 °13'35" East 336.26 feet; thence S88 °15'36" West along the South
line of SW '/4 SW '/4, Section 4, 461.66 feet to the Point of Beginning,
containing 40.25 Acres more or less

County, Arkansas lying East of Chicago -Rock Island- Pacific Railroad.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be and is
hereby changed as indicated:
Z -8287 — Described as a tract of land lying in the NW '/4 of the SW '/4 and
the S W '/4 of the SW '/4 Section 4, T -1 -S, R -12 -W and in the NE '/4 of the
SE' /4 Section 5, T -1 -S, R -12 -W Pulaski County, Arkansas, and being
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an iron pin at the
SW corner of said SW '/4 SW '/4 Section 4; thence NO° 14' 08" East, along
the West line of said SW V4 SW 1/4, Section 4 for 1,330.02 feet to an iron
pin at the NW corner of said SW '/4 SW '/4 Section 4; thence NO °15' 15"
East along the West line of NW '/4 SW %4 Section 4 for 364.79 feet; thence
N89 °39'53" East for 1,054.68 feet to the West right -of -way Arkansas

AND
All that part of NE '/4 of the SE '/4, Section 5, T -1 -S, R -12 -W Pulaski
County, Arkansas lying East of Chicago -Rock Island - Pacific Railroad be
classified as "I -1" Industrial Park (in the 10,100 and 10,200 Blocks of
Arch Street Pike).
SECTION 3. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Little Rock and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid
or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
ordinance.
SECTION 5. Repealer. All ordinances or resolutions of the City in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
