AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR DENNY ROAD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until the adjacent property
along Denny Road is developed for Corliss Williamson Revocable Trust, on the
southside of Denny Road located about 0.75 miles east of Ferndale Cutoff.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years, until construction of Phase 2 or until adjacent
development along Denny Road occurs whichever occurs first. The specific
deferral is for improving Denny Road as part of the Mondari Estates Preliminary
Plat along the frontage of the property on Denny Road to minor arterial standards
including widening, curb, gutter, sidewalk, access ramps, and street lights.
Subsection b. On Denny Road, a 45 foot right of way dedication from centerline
along the frontage of the property on the southside of Denny Road located about
0.75 miles east of Ferndale Cutoff will be required prior to approval of the final
plat.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
