ORD I NANCE No. 449D .
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF TAXATION OF
PROPERTY FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR YEAR 1929•
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
Section 1. That the rate of taxation on real and
personal property in the City of Little Rock, for City purposes
for the year 1929, be, and the same is hereby, fixed and establi
and levied as follows:
For General Purposes in order to carry
on the affairs of the City Government
under Section 4, Article 12, of the
Constitution of 1574, there is hereby
levied a tax of 5 mills;
For purpose of paying Bonds and Interest
of the City of Little Rock as they mature
in the Funding Bond Issue of May 1, 1925,
a ta x of 2j mills for the year 1929 is
hereby levied;
and Ordinance No 37$9 11 hereby amended only insofar as to apply
to the levy for the year 1929.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
transmit a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk of
Pulaski County to the end that the taxes herein recited may be
extended on the tax books of Pulaski County and collected annually
alongwith the other taxes for the year 1929•
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
only insofar as in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
., ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
passage.
