AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CALLAVVAY- MARTIN- DILLARD PRODUCE
COMPA1TY THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT,MAINTAIN AND USE A SPUR TRACK
ON THE STREETS AND SIDE - WALKS OF EAST THIRD STREET BETWEEN
SHERMAN AND FERRY STREETS,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the right is hereby given the Callaway-
Martin-Dillard Produce Company to construct, maintain and use
a spur track to be located as follows: Beginning at the extension
f the south alley line, block Fourteen, Pope's Addition to the
ity of Little Rock, thence west One Hundred Thirty (130) feet
llel to the north line of block Fourteen along the curb line of
ist Third Street; the north rail being approximately two and
hree tenths (2 3/10) feet south of the north curb line of East
Lird Street.
Section 2. The above franchise is hereby granted for a
eriod of Twenty (20) years from date hereof upon the condition
hat the Callaway - Martin- Dillard Produce Company shall pay to
he City Collector the sum of Fifty 050) Dollars annually in
dvance and upon the further condition that said company elevate
he side -walk on Sherman Street in front oflaot• -cJ�•�
lock Fourteen, Pope's Addition to a grade of Thirty (3O) inches
bove the grade of the curb now established.
Section 3. This franchise and all the terms thereof shall
in full force and effect from and after its passage if the

Section.-. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
