AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE HUG ARKANSAS COMPANY TO
LEASE SEVEN HUG TRUCKS UNTIL JANUARY 12 1930 WITH AN
OPTION OF PURCHASING THEM ON THE FMIRATION DATE OF THE
LEASE.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and instructed to enter into a lease
with the Hug Arkansas Company for seven (7) Hug 1j--2 ton
garbage trucks equipped with an all metal, water— tight,
4j cubic yard garbage body, for a rental of $300.00 per
month until the first day of January, 1930, witn an
option of purchasing said trucks on the expiration date
of the lease for the sum of $19,950.00 less the lease
money which shall be applied on the purchase price.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordin-
ances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this
prdinance shall take effect upon the date of its passage.
