AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE

OF LAND WITHIN ANNEX RTO. 1 TO STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 475 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.

>. WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Annex No. 1
v to Street Improvement District No. 475 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
organized and annexed for the pur-f) ose of grading and paving Harrison Street
from Prospect Avenue to U Street, in such manner and with such materials
as the commissioners of said Street Improvement District No. 475 shall
determine to be for the best interests of the district, the improvements
to be of the same general character as that in the original district No. 475,
have petitioned the City Council of Little Rock for the construction of said
improvement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed and charged upon
the real property within said annexed territory according to the benefits.

THEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $5,445.00.
NOW, THMFORB,Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That said several blocks, lots, and parcels of real property
in said Annex No. 1 to Street Improvement District No. 475, be assessed
according to the assessment list for said Annex No. 1, as the same now remains
in the office of the City Clerk, and as the same may be annually readjusted
by the board of assessors, and that six per centum on each of said blocks, lots,
and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first day of August,of each
of the years 1929 to 1943, inclusive.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
