An Ordinance assessing the value of
the benefits to be received by the owners
of each of the several blocks, lots and
parcels of land within Street Improvement
District No. 504.,
V=1 REAS, more than a majority in value of the
property owners adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated within Street Improvement District No. 504, organized
for the pur;)ose of making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, paving with concrete and repairing or rebuilding or
building curbs and gutters on the following described streets:
Vernon Avenue from the south side of
Markham Street to a line which is the
boundary line between Lots Eleven X11)
and Twelve (12) Block Seven (7),
Young's Park Addition, extended across
said avenue to the southwest corner of
Lot Seventeen (17), Block Three (3),
Young's Park Addition.
Linden Street from the west Bide of
Vernon 'Avenue to the east side of Pearl
Street.
such work to be done in such manner and with concrete and
-such other materials as the commissioners may select, have
petitioned the City Council of Little Rock for the construc-
tion of said improvements and that the cost thereof shall be
assessed upon the real property within said district, and
according to benefits received, and

said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon;
and,
WIEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement,
exclusive of interest, is $16,411.67.
THERECORE, IT IS NOW ORDAUED by the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 1. That the said several lots and
parcels of real property in said Street Improvement Dis-
trict No. 504 be, and they are hereby assessed according
to the assessment 10►st for said improvement district,

of the City of . Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually adjusted by.the Board of Assessors, and that
five (5) percentum of said assessment of the value of
benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels of

and every year thereafterrt until the whold of said local
assessment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in cdnflict herewith are Hereby repealed
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
