ORDINANCE NO. 4-
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATIiiG $42,480.00 FOR PAYY..�IT
OF INTEREST COUPOi1S OF FUM11 I r30iVD ISSUE OF tiAY 1, 192;, OF THE
CITY'OF'LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAIiZD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCS:
Section 1. That the sum of $42,480.00 be and
the same is hereby appropriated out of the Bond and Interest
Fund for payment of the following indebtedness of the City of
Little Rock, due and payable at the Chase National Bank of 11ew
York City on November 1, 1928:
Interest Coupons No. 6 for six (6)
months interest on the Funding Bonds
numbered 25 to 1910, inclusive, dated
P,iay 1, 1925, total principal being
1,888,000, the amount of said
interest being $ 42,4£0.00;
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue a
warrant therefor, payable to the Peoples Savings Bank, for the
purposes herein recited, of such maturity* as they deem for the
best interests of the City.
Section 2. That the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to forward to the Chase National Bank of New York City,
out of the Bond and Interest Fund,the sum of $ 49,000.00 to pay
the principal of Funding bonds mzmbered 25 to 71, inclusive,
same being due and payable at said Chase National Bank of .ew
York City on November 1, 192$.
Section �. All ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
