AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12 OF ORDINANCE NO.
4017,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCS:
Section 1. That Section 12 of Ordinance 30.4017
is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows:
"Section 12. No person, firm or corporation shall
sell within the City any milk which contains more than 57.5 per
cent of water, or less than 3.5 per cent of butter fat, and the
specific gravity of which at 60 degrees F. shall be lower than
1029 or higher than 1033. Provided this shall not apply as to
butter fat content of milk from pure holstein or from goat herds.
Milk from said pure holstein or goat herds shall contain not less
than 3 per cent of butter fat.N
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage, and all ordinances
and parts or ordinances,only insofar as they conflict herewith,
are hereby repealed.
