^_n Ordinance laying off certain portions
of the City of Little Rock into an improve-
ment district and designating the property
embraced therein, said district to be known
as Street Improvement Districtr�0?�
WHEYEAS, ten or more owners of real property with-
in that portion or' the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, herein-
after described, have petitioned the Council of the City of
Littl Rock, Arkansas, to take steps toward the makinc of local
improvements therein by:
Grading, draining, paving with concrete and
repairing or rebuilding or building curbs and gutters on -r d
of the folloi!,ring described streets:
Vernon Avenue from the south side of I1,Iark-
ham Street to a line which is the boundary
line between Lots 11 and 12, Block 7, Young's
Park Addition, extended across said avenue
to Win+ the southwest corner
of Lot 17, Block 3, Young's Park Addition.
Linden Street from the west side of Vernon
Avenue to the east side of Pearl Street.

Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Street Improvement District
No. 504 of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is hereby
created, for the purpose of grading, paving with concrete and
repairing or rebuilding or building curbs and gutters on and of
the follovTing described streets:
Vernon Avenue from the south side of I,Iark-
hari Street to a line which is the boundary
line between Lots 11 and 12, Block 7, Young's
Park Addition, extended across said avenue
to 1 the southwest corner
of Lot 1 , Block 3, Young's Park Addition.
Linden Street from the west side of Vernon
Avenue to the east side of Pearl Street.

In accordance with the Act of the General Assembly
of the State of Arkansas entitled, "An Act to Regulate the
Manner of Assessing Real Property for Local Improvements in
Cities of First and Second Class," approved Tarch 22, 18813
and amendment thereto.
Section 2: That the district hereby created, laid
off and estai,lished, shall include that portion and only that
Portion of the City of Little Rock hereby designated as fol-

Lots 4 to 16, inclusive, Block 31 Lots 1
to 12, inclusive, Block 4 and Lots 12 to
212 inclusive, Block 7, all in Youn ,s
'ark Addition to Little Rock
All the real property so described shall compose
said district and shall be subject to the provisions of this
Ordinance.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordi-
nance shall take effect and be in force from and after its pas-
sage and publication and the Clerk of the City of Little Rock
is, hereby ordered within twenty days from the passage of this
ordinance to publish the same in some newspaper of general cir-
culation puclished in Pulaski County for one insertion.
