AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BEIFEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IMPROVE - WT DISTRICT N0, 499 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WBEREAS, seventy -five (75%) per cent in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street i . ftotriet -No. 16*o Aft s&*i or4VLni_z k {four the purpose of clearing, grading, curbing, guttering, terracing and paving in such manner and with such material which the commissioners of said Improvement District may deem for the best interest of said Improvement District, the following streets situated within the boundaries of said Improvement District No. 499, to -wit: Jackson Street from its intersection with Cantrell Road through Shadowlawn until it intersects with Parkway or Club Road; Monroe Street from its inter - section with Cantrell Road through Shadowlawn until it intersects with Parkway or Club Road; Spruce Street from its intersection with Cantrell Road through Shadowlawn until it intersects with Park- way or Club Road; Shadow Lane from its intersection with Cantrell Road through Shadowlawn until it inter- '- -1­ S- .- .__..0 .. .-- its Ia��e�aee #ion` Qe� bane -t: until it intersects with Beachwood have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construe- tion of said Improvement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said District according to benefits received; and, WBERLAS, said benefits received by each and every lot and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and, SAS, the estimated cost of said Improvement District is Thirty -Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Three ($32p373 .685) Dollars and Eighty -Five Centa, NOW, THEREFOF{E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, AR MSAS: SECTION 1, That said several loile and parcels of real property in said District be, and the same are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said Improvement District, as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock$ Arkansas, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that Six and Two- Thirds (6 2/3 per cent) per centum on each of said lots and parcels shall be paid annually, on or before the 151h day of August, until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid, the first f T, ORDINANCE NO 4335.
