AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING REDEDICATION OF PUBLIC STREETS AS SHOWN ON REDIVISION OF CAIN ?TRELL PLACE, FILED WITH THE CIRCUIT CLERK ON THE DAY OF MAY., .1926, -A JD FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COLr7C IL OF THE CITY OF LIT TIE ROCK, ARKANSASt SECTION 1. That the plat and bill of assurances of Cantrell Place redividing, replatting and rededicating to the public streets as shown on said redivision, as filed in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- Officio i%:ecorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas on the day of 1v.ay, 1928, be and the same is hereby accepted, approved and confirr:.ed. Cantrell, his wife, were the owners of the following described lands in tie City of Little Bock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wits Beginning at the Southwest corner of the .vest Half of the East Half of the Northeast : #2. VMIE SAS Colonial Court Development Company, the owner of the property abuttin; Cantrell Addition, filed its ;plat and bill of assurances on TJr -,roh 99 1922, dedicating said abutting property as "Colonial Court Addition" to the City of Little �.�ock, but f�j._ led and refused to make any extension of Oak Street north or to dedi- cate any ground for the East Balf of said Itreet, so that it might be extended north, and platted their lots up to their dveot 'boundary line; and WIMIREAS the City of Little A:ock, by its Ordinance No.2928, passed on the 16th day of March, 1922, duly accepted the plat and bill of assurances of said Colonial Court 1)evelo,pment Company, there- by abandoning the extension north of said Oak Street; and VfIEREAS it is now desirable and necessary that Cantrell Addition should be redivided and replatted and a new street opened so that all of the lots therein may have a full street frontage; and vi1HERE,AS said _). 1.. Cantrell, his wife, for and in consideration of the benefits accruing to them, :have caused to be made the redivision and replat of said Cantrell Addition hereto attached, to be knovin hereafter as "Cantrell Mace ", showing the bounds and uimensions of said property, and do hereby redivide, replat and rededicate to the public the -:treets as shown on said redivision to be used as public streets; P - vided, tir,.t if such streets are ever hereafter abandoned as public streets or con- verted to any other use or purpose than that for which this dedication is made, then said streets shall irmnediately revert to the grantors, their heirs and assigns.
