"d'TEREAS, more than ten owners of real property �rithin
that portion of little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, hereinafter
described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toy ^.iard
the making; of local improvements therein by forming the territory
hereinafter described into an improvement district for the purpose
hereinafter set out,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C 017TC IL Or ` HE

Section 1: That said Street Improvement District

created, and established for the purpose of making local improvemEV is
therein by resurfacing and repairing High ; ),treet from the youth line
of "ninth :street to the Lor•th line of Sixteenth Street, to be done
in such manner and of such materials as the commissioners of said
district shall deem to be for the best interest of the district, in
the City of Little Rock, - lrkansas, in accordance with an act of the
General Assembly of the :Mate of Arkansas entitled "An Act .to regulate
local improvements in cities of the first class ", approved March 22,
1881, and amendments thereto;
That the boundaries of said district shall embrace
the following property:
All that real property lyin €. within One Hundred and
fifty (150) feet west of the west property line and all that real
property lying within One Hundred and ?ifty (150) feet east of the
east property line, respectively, o i' jiC-h Street from the south
property line of T'inth Street to the north property line of Sixteenth
Street; also, >ll of Kock Two (2) -'itzgerald's Addition to the City
of little "Lock.

Section 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herevith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the
City Clerk is hereby ordered, within twenty days from the date of
its passage, to publish the same in some newspaper published in the
City of I,ittle Rock for one insertion.
