1 ORDINANCE N0. 4278 •
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,041.53 TO PAY
AMERICAN NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR GROUP INSURANCE POLICY
G7500 FOR LITTLE ROCK POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock is carrying Group
Insurance for $1 000 on each member of the Fire and Police
Departments actively engaged in the service of the City of Little
Rock and is paying the premium therefor; and
WHEREAS, The City Collector of the City of Little
Rock has paid to the American National Insurance Company the
premium for the year beginning December 1, 1927, said premium
amounting to $2,041.83: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated out
of the General Revenue Fund of the City of Little Rock the sum
of $ 2,041.53 to pay the premium on Group Insurance Premium
G7500 carried with the American National Insurance Company of
Galveston, Texas, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to issue the City's warrant therefor, payable to
James Lawson, City Collector, for $ 2,041.53, to reimburse him
for the premium previously paid to the said American National
Insurance Company.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
