WHEREAS, a rnajorJty in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Storm
Sewer Improvement District No. 483 of the City of Little Rock,
Arl -nsas, orLa.nized for the -our-pose of draining; and storm sevYering •
Jackson (formerly Cherry) Street from "A" Street to Lee Avenue, in
such manner and with such materiels as the coraidssioners shall
deter.;ine to be for the best interests of the district, have
,petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
for the construction of said improvement, vInd that the cost thereof
shall be assessed unon the real )ronerty of said district according
to the benefits received; and
'''0ad' ;AS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot,
and -parcel of real property situ,-tec- in sr,id district equals or exceeds
the local ,isses ment thereon; and
p+uMAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $5,927.63.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Citl,r Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and parcels of real
pro -perty in said district be assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the sarue now remains in the office of
the City Clerk, and as the same way be annually readjusted by the Board
of Assessors, q d that six (op) tiercentum on each of said blocirs, lots,
and oarcels shall be -paid annually on or before the first day of April
of each of the gears lg28 to 1942, inclusive.
Section 2. That all ordinances ,�,nd uarts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the s ^,one are hereby repealed, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect froi-,i and after its - Passage.
