4248y y ORDINANCE N0 . 4248 . AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAIN. PORTION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, O�RKANSAS, INTO A LOCAL IM- PROVEMENT DISTRICT AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDS THEREOF. SAID DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBFR]OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKAN Whereas, ten or more owners of real property within the bounds herein n- anti-"ad -have petitioned the_. City Council of the City, of- Little Rock, Arkansas, to take steps toward the making of local improvements therein by curbing and guttering, in such manner and with such materials which the Commissioners of said District may deem for the best interest of the District, all that portion of the following streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as follows: Oak Street from the south line of Lot Nine (9), Block Nine (9), R. C. Butler Addition projected west across said Oak Street and said Oak Street running thence north from said south line to the south property line of West 25th Street; West 26th Street from the west pro- party line of Maple Street running west to the west line of Lot One (lit Block Ten (10), R. C. Butler Addition, projected !4tk across said West 26th Street. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That Curb and Gutter Improvement District No._ of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same hereby is created, laid out and established for the purpose of curbing and guttering, in such manner and with such materials which the Commissioners of said Dis- t?ia.# stay deem for the, best interest of the District, all that portion of the following streets: Oak Street from the south line of Lot Nine (2), Block Nine (9), R. Butler Addition projected west across said Oak Street and said Oak I Street running thence north from said south line to the south property line of Wiest 25th Street; West 26th Street from the west property line of Maple Street running west to the west line of Lot One (1), Block Ten (10), R. C. Butler Addition, projected aft across said West 26th Street# in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. 'M. Page 2 - Ord. No. 4249. i" -4 In accordance with an act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled "An Act to regulate the manner of assessing real property for local improvements in the cities of the first and second class" approved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto. Section 2. That the District hereby created, laid out and ` itallished shall include that portion of the City of Little Rook, Arl& ansas, embraced within the boundaries described as follows: Lots One (1) to Six (6), inclusive, Block Seven (7), R. C. Butter Addition; Lots Four (4) to Twelve (12), inclusive, Block Eight (8), R. C. Butler Addn; Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Paine (9), Ten (10), Lleven (11), Block Nine (9), R. C. Butler Addition; Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Block Ten (10), R. C. Butler Addition; all of which above described property lies and is situate in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict with this ordinance are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publica- i tion, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the passage of this ordinance to publish same in some newspaper of general circulation in the .City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for one insertion.
