AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS,
FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, ON THE 17EST SIDE OF FARRINGTON
STREET BETWEEN FIFTH AND SIXTH STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of property abutting on
the west side of Harrington Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets,
be and they are hereby required to build, within ninety days from
the passage of this ordinance, and to thereafter maintain, a sidewalk
four feet in width,
ar,&I - - -' � along such property where the same
abuts upon said street for the above mentioned distance, of the
material, and according to the specifications, and in the manner
outlined and provided for in Section 1281 of Hale's Digest of the
City Ordinances of Little Rock, and subject to the approval of the
Superintendent of Public Works.
Section 2. Anyone failing to comply with the provisions of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall be fined in any sure not less than five nor more than twenty -
five dollars for each offense, and each day after the expiration
of the period above given in which said sidewalks are not laid shall
constitute a separate offense, under this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in donflict
herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as affecting this designated
location and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the date of its passage.
