AN ORDI ZANCE ESTABLISHI 11G TH-; RATE OF TAXAi'ION OF
PROPERTY FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR YEAR 1927.
BE IT ORDAI;ED BY THE CITY COU17CIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the rate of taxation on real
and personal property in the City of Little mock, for City pur-
poses for the year 1927, be and the same is hereby fixed and
established and levied as follows:
For General Purposes in order to
carry on the affairs of the City
Government under Section 4, Article
12 of the Constitution of 187+,
there is hereby levied a tax of 5 mills;
For purpose of paying bonds and
interest of the City of Little Rock
as they mature in the Funding Bond
Issue of May 1, 1925, a tax of 2,1 mills
for the year 1927 is hereby levied;
and Ordinance No. 3789 is hereby amended only insofer as to apply
to the levy for the year 1927-
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to transmit a certified copy of this ordinance to the County
Clerk of Pulaski County to the end that the taxes herein recited
may be extended on the tax books of Pulaski County and collected
annually along with the other taxes for the year 1927-
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately upon its passage.
