AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE ARKANSAS! WATER COMPANY TO CONNECT
TO ITS HIGH SERVICE SYSTEM, THE PRESENT EIGHT (8 °)INCH AND

LEE AVENUE, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE FIRE PROTECTION AND DO-
bIESTIC SERVICE TO THE PROPERTY ABUTTING THESE STREETS AND
CONNECTED TO THESE LINES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THT. CITY COUNCIL 07 TN`s+, CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. The oToneTty owners on Crystal Avenue from Alpine
Court to Court Street; Linwood Court from opposite house No.
r 220 to Crystal Avenue; Court Street from 11arkham Street to
Lee Avenue, have requested that the present eight (811) inch
and two (211) inch lines in these streets be connected. to the
high service system, as the pressure from these lines now
is not adequate for fire protection and domestic purposes.
To remedy this condition the Arkansaw eater Company
is hereby ordered and. directed to install an eight (811) inch
line behind the west curb of Court Street northward from the
end of its present eight (8 ") inch line in this street to and
connect to its present eight (811) inch line behind the north
curb of Lee Avenue.
Section 2. This extension is ordered in accordance with
Section 8 of Ordinance No-3290, passed. August 13, 1923, and as
amended by Ordinance No.3442, passed .:larch 24 1924.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they
conflict with this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
