BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVE"* BY THE O7MIERS
OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS,
AND PARCELS OF LAND "`IITHIN }SPRING
STREET ANNEX TO STREET IME'ROV1,11,UNT
DISTRICT NUMBER 444 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
"V`hereas, the majority in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in the

Spring Street Annex�t�I provement District Niunber 4411, organized
for the purpose of raking local improvements therein by repairing
of drainage and curbing, and guttering and resurfacing in -.ch
manner and with such materials as the commissioners of said district
shall deem to be for the best interest of the territory herein
petitioned to be annexed, have petitioned the Council of the City
of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the
cost thereof be assessed upon the real property of said district
according to benefits received; and,
Whereas, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of- property situated in said district equals
or exceeds t ^e local assessment thereon; and,
'hereas, the es timated. cost of said improvement is
V24, 392.50;
T SPORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the said several blocks, lots and parcels
of real property, railroads and railroad rights -ofay, in said
Spring Street Annex to Street Improvement District Number 444 be,
and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list as
the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Kittle hock and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board
of _assessors, and that ten per centum of the said assessment of the
value of benefits to eadh of said blocks, lots and parcels of land,
railroads and railroad rights -of -way, shall be Maid on or before the
day of of each of the years 192 %' to
193.6 , .inclusive, until the whole of said assessment shall have
been u aid.

in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
