4205ORDINANCE NO. 4205- AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING CERTAIN OFFICERS OF THE io :'POLICE DEPART' ENT TO TLkno BOT'DS AND PROVIDING FOR P'AY'S NT OF .M,IIUIYZS ON SAID BONDS BY THE CITY; BE IT ORDAINED BY 17HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1. That the assistant chief of police who holds the rank of Major shall make bond unto the City of Little Rock in the sum of P5,000.00. Section 2. That the chief of detectives who holds the rank of major and has charge of the Detective Bureau shall make bond --..nto the City of Little Rock in the sum r of X5,000.00. Section 3. That the secretary of the police department whose duty it is to keep a record of all persons �( tried in the first division of the Little Rock Jhmicipal court; collect fine, fees, forfeitures and to take charge of all money t and property belonging to prisoners and property otherwise ' seized by the police department; shall make a bond unto ( the City of Little Rock in the sum sum of V10,000.00. Section 4. That the-,/J9 police sargents who are or. duty day and night and whose duty it is to search prisoners, accept bonds and. do general office work shall each make a bond unto the City of Little Roc4, in the sum of ' 2000.00. Section 5. That the custodian of the prisoners who is patrolman and. assibts in collecting fines, searching prisoners and receiving p=- operty of tl:e prisoners, shall make a bond unto the City of Little Rock in the sum of #1000.00. Section 6. That the patrolman who collects fines, during each daily session, shall ma];e a bond unto the City of Little Rock in the sum of ?1000.00. Section 7. That all of the bonds provided for in sec- tions 1 to 6 inclusive of this ordinance shall be made by some reputable surety or bonding company and the annual premiums shall be paid by the city of Little Roclj: out of the general revenue fund.
