►N ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF
BENEFITS TO Br RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS
F EACH OF rME SEVERAL LOTS, BLACKS AND
PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN CURB AND GUTTER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 474 OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE FA CK , ARKANSAS.
WHMAg, a majority in value of the property holders ewnint
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in
Curb and Gutter Improvement District No. 474 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of draining, curbing, and
guttering T Street from Van Buren Street to Taylor Street, in such
manner and with such materials as the _commissioners shall determine
to be for the best interests of the district, have petitioned the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Ar kansas, for the construction
of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property of said district according to the benefits
received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, let,
and parcel of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon; and
VIHEREAS the estimated cost of said improvement is $8,183.58.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
Sectiom 1. That the several blocks, lets, and parcels of real
property in said district be assessed according to the a ssessment list
for said improvement district as the sane now remains in the office
of the City Clerk, and as the same may be annually readjusted _tb * <r
Beard of Assessors, and that six and one -half (6°') percentum on each
of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of September of each of the years 1927 to .1941, inclusive.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and of fact from and after its passage-
