AN ORDINANCE ASSESSII�TG THE VALUE OF BEr]EFITS TO BE
CE IVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS,
OTHER SUB-DIVISIONS OF REAL PROPERTY WITHIN S - rnvwALK,
CURD AND GUT23R WROV+ +NT DISTRICT NO. 471 OF THE CITY OE
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real property own-
ing real property Within the locality to be affected and situated
within Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Improvement District No. 471 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of
making local improvements therein by curbing, guttering and build-
ing sidewalk in such manner and with such materials,`shall deter-
mine to be for the best interests of the District, set out in their
petition, having petitioned the City Council of the City of Little
Rock for the construction of said improvements and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said Dis-
trict according to the benefits received; and
MMREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot of real
property situated within said District equals or exceeds the local
assessments thereon; and
WHEREAS,-the estimated cost of said Improvement is $3,740.00
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDA IM BY THE CITY C OUNC IL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. That, the said several lots of real property with-
in said Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Improvement District No. 471, be,
and they are, hereby assessed according to the assessment list for
the said Improvement District as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board. of Assessors and that ten per ton.
tum (10 per cent.) of said assessment of the value of the benefits of
each of said lots of real property in said District shall be paid. an..
nually on or before the first day of October of each year, beginning
October 1, 19270 until the whole of said assessment shall have been
paid.

Section 2. That, all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed$ and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after passage,
