4188r ORDINANCE N0. 418$ . AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWMES OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAID WITHIN PAVING DISTRICT NUMBER 448 OF TTIE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected, and situated in Paving District Number 448 in the City of Little Rook, organized for the purpose of making local improvements therein by resurfacing West Tenth Street from the west side of High Street to the east side of Schiller Avenue with an asphalt surface pavement on the present brick base, have petitioned the City Counoil of the City of Little Rook for the construction of said improvements, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of real property, railroad and railroad right -of -way situated in said District equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost.of said improvement is Fourteen Thousand Two Hundred Eighty -nine and 21/100 Dollars ($14,289.21), exclusive of interest; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. SECTION 19 That the said several blooks, lots and parcels of real property,,railroads and railroad rights -of -way in said Paving District Number X48 be, and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list , as the same now remains in the office of the CityClerk of the City of Little Rook, and as the same may be annually re- adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that ten per centum of said assessment of the value of benefits to each of said blooks, lots and parcels of real property, railroads and railroad rights -of -way shall be paid ©p or f before the first day of October in each of the years 1927 to 1936, inolusive, until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in confliot herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. PASSER June 2 , 1927.
