• AN OIRDIN'ANCE DIRECTING THE ARKANSAW WATER COMPANY TO CONNECT
TO ITS HIGH SERVICE SYSTEM ITS PRESENT EIGHT (8") INCH AND
TWO (2") INCH DINES IN CRYSTAL AVENUE FROM MARKHAM STREET TO
COURT STREET; ALPINE PASS FROM MAt AAM STREET TO CRYSTAL AVENUE;
MAPLE STREET FROM MAC STREET TO CRYSTAL AVENUE and COURT
STREET FROM MARKHAM STREET:TO LEE AVENUE, 13 01MER TO IMPROVE
THE FIRE PROTECTION AND 33tM= SERVICE TO THE PROPERTY AIONG
THESE STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
Section 1. The property oaeners on Crystal Avenue from Markham
Street to Court Street; Alpine Pass from Markham Street to

Avenue, and Court Street From Markham Street to Lee Avenue
have requested that the present eight (8") inch and two (2n)
-'inch lines in these streets be connected to the high service
system, as the pressure from these lines now is not adequate
for fire protection and domestic purposes.
To remedy this condition the Arkansaw Water Company
is hereby ordered and directed to install an eight ($n) inch
line behind the west curb of Court Street northward from the
end of its present eight (8n) inch line in this street to
and connect to its present eight (8n) inch line behind the
north curb of Ise Avenue.
Section 2. All consumers of water on Crystal Avenue from
Markham to Court Street; Alpine Pass from Markham Street to
Crystal Avenue, Maple Street from Markham to Crystal Avenue
and Court Street from Markham Street to Lee Avenue are hereby
ordered and directed to install on their water service a regu-
lator, valve, said regulator valve to be set for sixty (60)
pounds pressure to protect.their property from being damaged by
the increased pressure,
Section 3. This extension is ordered in accordance with See -
tion 8 of Ordinance No.,3290, passed August 13, 1923, and as amend -
ed b Ordinance No paAse1 March 24, 1924. .

Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in•oon-
flict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict
with this ordinance.
