AN ORDINANCE REDUCING TEE LEVY OF THE
ANNUAL COLLECTION OF AtSESSMIMT OF
BENEFITS WITHIN STREET I12RUME IT
DISTRICT NO. 344 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WEEREAS, it has been ascertained that the present annual
levy on the assessment of benefits in this district produces
more money than is needed to meet the bond and interest
maturities of this district,
1111071, THEREFORE, BE IT O RDA INED BY THE CITY COVNC IL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, parcels and
other sub - divisions of real property within Street Improvement
District No. 344 of the City of Little Rock be, and they are,
hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
improvement district, as the same now remains in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may
be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that six
per centum (6%) of said assessment of the value of the benefits
on each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other sub- divisions of
land shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of 11ugust
of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been
paid. The next annual payment shall be made on or before the
1st day of August, 1927.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinarne shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passag.e
