Ali ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF TEE CITY OF LI'T'TLE ROCK INTO A STREET Il4IPROV1_,2J I'TT DISTRICT, TO BE KNOWN AS STREET n1PRO VEMENT DISTRICT NO. <�t AND DESIGNATING THE BOTIMARIES TIMEQF. W.- AREAS, more than ten owners of real property within that portion of Little Rock, Pulask�i County, Arkansas, hereinafter described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward the making of local improvements therein by forming the territory hereinafter described into an improve=ment district for the purpose hereinafter set out, THEREFORE $ BE IT O RDAIIMD BY TIM CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1. That Street Improvement District Ido. of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is, hereby created and established for the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, buttering and paving the following streets: Pine Street from the north line of Prospect Avenue to the intersection of Pine Street with the south line of Oakwood Road; Oakwood Road from its intersection with the west line of Oahvood Place to the east line of Oak Street; Oak Street from its intersection with a line drawn due east from the nar theast corner of Lot 1 of Block 13 of Pulaski He iF3hts Addition, to the intersection of Oak Street with the south line of Oakwood Road. And by building a sanitary sewer system with the necessary laterals to serve the property within this district, to provide an outlet for said system, such outlet to be located beyond the limits of the district, if the comrlissioners deem such location advantageous to the district. All of the improvements to be done in such manner and with such materials as the c orfrlissioners of said district shall determine to be for the best interests of the district. All in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of the General assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled, "An Act to Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class ", a_)proved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district sIR11 include the following property: Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, of Block 7, Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Block 8, Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Block 13, Lots 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 and 12 of Block 14, all in Pulaski eights Addition. All of Oakwood 21ace, A tract of land 50 x 140 feet described as follows: Begin at a point 60 feet north of the northeast corner of Block 14 of Pulaski Heights Addition; thence run north 50 feet; thence run west 140 feet; thence run south 50 feet; thence run east 140 feet to beginning. A tract of land described as follows: Begin at the northwest corder of Oakwood Place; thence north 150 feet; thence east to the north boundary line of Oakwood Place; thence south and west along said north boundary line to the point of beginning. A tract of land described as follows: Begin at a point formed by the intersection of a line drawn due east from the north- east corner of Block 13 of Pulaski Heights Addition with the east line of Oak Street; thence east 150 feet; thence north 501.2 feet; thence west to the northeast corner of lot 1, Block 2 of Oalavood Place; thence south along the east line of said Lot 1 to the southeast corner thereof; thence east to the east line of Oak Street; thence south along said east line to point of beginning. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance slhall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. And the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of its passage to publish the same in some newspaper published in the City of little Rock for one insertion.
