V An Ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be received
by the owners of each of the several blooks, lots, and parodls of land
'within Street Improvement District Number 444 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas
Whereas, a majority in value of the "property holders owning
`ire" ad oining the locality to be, affoototl and s itualed in Street -
Improvement District Number 444 of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of making local improvements therein by resurfaoilg
Conway Street from the North line of Markham Street to the North line of
Garland Avenue, and Garland Avenue from.ths west line of Convey Street
to a point 100 feet East of the West line of Block 336, original City of
Little Rook, Arkansas, and North Spring Street from the North line of
Markham.Street to the right -of -way of the Missouri Pacific Railway Company ,
crossing North Spring Street, a000rdirig to plans filed in the office of the
City Clerk, by the Commissioners of said district, have petitioned the
City Council of the City of Little'ROoic for the construction of said im-

arty in-said district, according to the benefits received, and,
whereas, said benefits redoivod by each and every block, lot
and parcel of real property, railroads,. and railroad right -of -way, situa-
ted.in said district, equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and,
Whereas, the estimated cost of said improvement' is $38,003.00,
ptousivo of interest and other expen®om and the assessed benefits amount
to $73*259 ,100.
THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED ;BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LIT ROOK, ARKANSAS:
