Whereas, seventy -five per cent in value of the owners of 4 real property adjoining the locality to be affected and situate within street Improvement District No. 442 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of paving in such manner and with such materials which the commissioners of said district may deem for the best interest of the district, the following streets: Crestwood Drive from its intersection with Beech Street at the East property line of Beach Street, through Edgehill Addition to Cantrell Road, Armistead Road from its intersection with Beech Street at the East property line of Beech Street to its intersection with Crestwood Drive, have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for ,Zbg construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said district, according to the benefits received, and Whereas, said benefits received by each and every lot and parcel of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon, and Whereas, the estimated cost of said improvement is Seventben Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty -eight and 80/100 r=- rDLLARS- ($17,938.8 ©) exclusive of interest charges, Now, Therefore, Be it Ordained by the City Council of tl City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That the said several lots or other parcels �! of real property within said Street Improvement District No. 442 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said Street Improvement District No. 442, as the same now remains in the office of the recorder or city clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted, and that 10 per centum of said assessment of the value of benefits on each of said lots or other parcels of real property in said district shall be paid annually on or before the first day of October of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The first annual payment shall be made on or before the -lst day of October , 1926. 3ection.2• That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
