AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF TH :BENEFIT S
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH THE SEVERAL,
LOTS OR PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY WITH THE VALENTINE
STREET ANNEX TO CURB & GUTTER IITRO �NT IESTRICT
N0, 429 OF' THE CITY OF LITTLE RBCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in v&lue of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to
be affected and situated within the Valentine Street
Annex to Curb & Gutter Improvement District loo. 429 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing and guttering the streets set out in
their petition, in such manner and with such materials
as the commissioners of said district shall determine to
be for the best interests of the territory annexed, have
petitioned the City Council of the City of Tittle Rock,
Arkansas, for the construction of said improvement and
that the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property
within said annexed territory according to the benefits
received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each of the several
lots or other parcels of real property within the said
Valentine Street Annex equal or exceed the local assess-
ments thereon; arA
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
01211.43;
TJEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CT
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the said several lots or other parcels
of real property within the Valentine Street Annex to Curb &
Gutter Improvement District No. 429 of the City of Tittle
Rook be, and they are, hereby assessed according to the

assessment list for said annex, -as the.,.sarm now remains
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rook
and as the same. may be annually readjusted by the board cf
assessors, and that 6 2/3 per eentum .c said assessment ae
the value of the benefits of each of said lots or other
parcels of real property within said Valentine Street Annex
be paid on -or before the 1st day of September of each year,
beginning on September lst, 1926, until the whole of said
assessment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or Darts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and LAer its passage.
